Beautiful Planet II

Right after I bought the digital camera, I wanted to go out and try it.
At that moment, I managed to wake up early, drive to the beach, and get the most beautiful shots I had ever taken. (link: Beautifull planet)

Last Saturday, I was with some friends at Campana, hoping to get a good view of the sunset.

The moon view (full moon) was spectacular, however I was not able to glance at the sun set from our current location. The sun went down from behind a hill.

The view.

The place.

Again.

I made a mental note, to come back some day, early in the morning, to take a look at the sunrise (by now, the readers must know I love this sunrise seeing stuff)

I setted up the alarm twice, to get up at 3am, but apparently I no longer have the will power to do so.

So last night, I was feeling rested, and thought, what if I just go now, and sleep there?

Well, I have to admit, that camping alone, does not feel as relaxing as going with a group of friends. Shure the place was quiet. I could hear my own heart pumping, but at the same time, the feeling of uncertainly was mind disturbing.

So yes, I slept in the car. And no, it was not comfortable.

The next morning, as the alarm went off at 5:30am, I came out to breakfast. As I was doing so, and waiting for the sun, I realized, that I was not going to see it. It was coming out behind another hill. Who builded this place, in a way that neither the sunrise nor the sunset can be visible?
Anyways, I rushed to pack the chair in the car, and ran uphill to get a better view.
Well, actually ran to the base of the hill, cause it was still dark on that side, and I was not having luck finding the trail to go up (I made my own way).

As I got to the top of the hill, my “sacrifices” (back pain from sleeping in the car, plus all dirty and sweated from rushing uphill) proven to be rewarding.

The view was spectacular. I had the chance to take a few shots, but I still do not think they represent the peace I felt up there.

The place again (but lonely)

The view (at sunrise). The moon is still visible.

Another.

And another.

I was there...

Uhum, me.

This is life...

The Solitary Bird

I heard this poem, and I liked it.

The Solitary Bird

The conditions of a solitary bird are five;
the first condition, it does not have a definite color;
the second condition, it does not seek for company,not even of its own kind;
the third condition, it aims its beak at the sky;
the forth condition, it soars with the power of its own wings;
and the fifth condition, it sings very softly.
