"Calle 50" at 9:29pm.
This semaphore is at the level of ASSA.
Unlike other sempahores in the city, this one does not blink green before switching to yellow. No idea why.

Beautiful Picture
I found this picture on another blog site.
I thought it was beautiful. How the water separates the kids from the background, and makes their cherish florish.
I would say "Kodak moment".

Unspoken thoughts.
Sometimes I need time to figure out things.
Because I know, that if I do not have the time, I would say something or do something.
Somethings you can not take back.
And that is part of who am I (human, imperfect).
And there are other humans out there. Sometimes they understand that ones requires time, some other times, they act extremely needy and call upon us, no matter what our current situation is.
And that is just the perfect mixture for trouble.
So a few simple rules for dealing with me.
1)Do not act needy with me. That is one of the things that will make me run away so fast, you will not even know what happened.
2)If I say no, is no. Remember, it is not possible to reason out, something that was not reason in, in the first place (yes, I take emotional decisions).
3)Do not try to cheer me up. I am not motivated by external factors, I enjoy getting my motivation from withing myself. It gives me a sense of independence.
4)Remember I am mostly independent of the good opinion of others. So giving me acceptance, or rejecting me will not get you far either.
5)Life with me, well, is like a roller coaster. Feel free to join at your own will.
6) And last, but not least. Do not try to pull information from me. Whatever I decide to come out and talk, it would be my choice, and it would happen when I am ready.

Rappel basic course.
Today the Club Eco Aventura had their traditional Rappel basic training.
I already have taken this one, and a few a bit more advanced ones.
However, I came to this one as a friend, asistant and photographer?
They have an official pictures site at http://espanol.photos.yahoo.com/clubecoaventura
Anybody here in Panama, interested in some adventure, anything from camping, hiking, river treking, survival training, 4x4 off road driving courses, feel free to contact these guys at clubecoaventura@yahoo.com
This is Ingrid, seting up an anchor point.
Abdiel, the other guy in the Club "board of directors". He is setting um the ropes, and security. This guys cares a lot on the later (security) and double and triple checks everithing.
Ok guys, this is very simple, all you have to do is this...
Hello...
First, the instructor will guide the student on the way down. Really friendly guy.
Team work here. The guys at the bottom secure the girls. You see, this is pretty safe (and fun).
Proof that I was there?
Two students.
Cute girl, ha?
This guy is not part of the basic course.
He was like me, giving a hand, and having some fun.
He is about to try some advanced stuff.
There he goes, Australian style.
After they have gone down with the instructor, then next step. They go by themselves. Both of the girls are new students.
A diferent view of the wall.
Thouse are not parachutes, je je, just regular backpacks. We were leaving the site.

Did I mention I love Fire?
This is one of the presents from my birthday.
I love it.
I can stare at it for hours.
Fire is one of things that is always the same, but different.
What a silly entertainment. It has less colors or animation than TV, however it triggers my mind.
Makes me think about all kinds of things.
Maybe deep inside, I have some philosophical spirit (creepy).

The saga continues.
And just when I thought I have seen it all... life trows at me another great experience.
Yesterday, after I posted the previous blog, I silenced my mobile phone, unplugged my regular phone and headed towards the bed [I was for the hibernation].
Around 8:15pm, I woke up, and from bed I pull my portable, lift the lid and start chatting with a good friend. After just a little while, he asks “How was your surprise party”?
I was like “I am very surprised... What party?”
So I could not believe it, and he showed me the “coordination emails”.
And jup, I picked up my mobile phone and responded the calls.
All right, to tell the truth, I am not a fan of any kind of surprise. Not even parties.
However, it was really nice to see the kind of coordination that my friends had behind my back.
Some of them did not knew each other, and they where all together (waiting for ever at Kayuco :P ).
It was nice, thank you guys.
Here, the flyer that was sent behind my back. Really cool, I would say.
Here are the girls (bored) waiting for me arrival (je je, I like to be waited for)
Friends waiting... That is good for the restaurant business, je je.
The kake was personaly made by Luis's mom. Thanks!
All right, this is my silly face.
Here is the "official presents table" (back at home).

Version 3.1
I feel so special today.
Twenty two years ago, no wait, thirty one years ago my mom was on Taboga island, and I decided It was my time to go out (yeah I know, what was she doing there with nine months of pregnancy? I do not know, but I am sure that is part of the reason I am how I am).
Anyways, today is my birth date. Usually this date goes quite underground, I may get a few emails from family overseas, and that´s it.
However, today was impressive. I guess mostly because it was unexpected. Or maybe is that good luck aura that is surrounding me lately.
I got congratulations from all kind of people;
-Milton, my SCUBA instructor, someone I bump into like once a year.
-Daniela, an old friend from high school (I used to have such a crush on her).
-Jorge, my old and a bit forgotten friend from Spain.
-Agustin, my other best friend, from USA.
-Carmen Ana, I have not spoke with her, since her sister in law got married (ajem, over a year ago), even thought she works in the building right next to my house.
She and a mysterious admirer, posted happy birthday paper signs on her window, for me to see from my house.
-Madelaine, and old family friend I have not seen in like ten years, and re-meet her recently.
-Alex, a recently meet friend, screamed happy birthday from the parking lot, as he was leaving the neighborhood house.
-Ingrid, the driver (with Alex) send my kisses from withing the car.
-My buddies at work, Eduardo, Melquiades, Rubén, Roberto, Carlos, Mayte, Zergeliaz and Maria came in pairs to hug each side by side.
-The accountant (another lady) called in, and send me an indirect hug with Maria.
-Berta, a girl that used to work with us, and left months ago, called in [I am still unsure how she got my cell] to wish me the best.
-Mis Nidia, the secretary from SCUBA Panama called at work as well.
-I got emails from my cousins Ana and Maria in Spain, also from my uncle Ramon.
-As I got home, I had two messages on my answer machine, Calixta and Maribel wishing me a nice day.
-And to wrap it up, I just got an “automated” preprogrammed email from my mom. She is on a trip overseas, but apparently managed to program her workstation to send me an email today. Geez, even I do not know how to do that!
Well, to all my friends, I want to thank you.
You all really sparked my day.
Thanks again.
-Roman.
PD: If I forgot to mention someone, it was non intentional, all right?

Take #2
I had health concerns related to my previous encounter with the concrete dust. Now $50.00 is a respectable number already, but I find it a lot more fun to spend it on a mask, than on a medical consultation.
Anyways, I also got additional concrete cutting and grinding wheels, so I think I am ready for encounter # 2.
